A lot is changing in the ways gay and bi men can protect themselves when they have sex with other guys. Discussing your HIV status with a sexual partner can be confronting for some men, and easier for others. Do you tell your HIV-status to your sexual partners? When do you tell them? How do you tell them? What happens after you disclose your HIV status? We want to know what works for you (and what doesn’t).

The Telling? study is being run by the Kirby Institute at UNSW to ask gay and bi guys their thoughts and experiences of HIV status disclosure and whether they’ve experienced stigma after disclosing. This online survey will ask a number of questions about what you say and what you do when you have sex with other guys. We take your privacy extremely seriously and any responses you provide will be anonymous and confidential.

By participating in this study, you'll be providing information which will benefit the gay and bisexual community and help inform the development of sexual health and relationship services for gay and bi men.
