People with HIV live our lives to our full potential, in good health and free from stigma, discrimination and criminalisation, fully exercising our central role in ending the HIV epidemic.
Provide national HIV Positive leadership and representation to improve our health and quality of life and combat stigma, discrimination and the criminalisation of people with HIV.
Who we are
NAPWHA is the peak national HIV peer-based organisation representing all people living with HIV in Australia. Our members are groups of people living with HIV in every state and territory of Australia.
How we work
We work to empower people living with HIV to lead and champion our central role in the HIV response. We are consultative, collaborative, innovative and solutions-focussed. We are accountable to our members and constituency. We seek funding consistent with our goals and deliver on our contracts, producing high-quality work that benefits people with HIV and all Australians.
